Melksham RFC U11s trained with their heroes at Bath Rugby Training Ground – Farleigh House on Wednesday 24th April.
Following a successful competition application by coach, Tom Coleman, the young side was selected to train with members of the Bath Rugby premiership side.
Bath Rugby community coaches led the session on Bath’s 4G training pitch and Bath stars Sam Underhill, Toby Falatau and James Wilson took part with them.
The club says, “It was an incredible experience and thoroughly enjoyed by children and parents alike! The children left buzzing and inspired, with many hoping that they may get the chance to play for Bath in the future.
“Rugby is a Team Sport but a Team is made up of more than those that pick up the ball and run with it. Melksham Rugby Club have opportunities for children to start playing from age 3 and always welcome new members of all abilities.
