A fundraising evening was held on Thursday 14th January at the Sultan in Melksham.
Ann and Steve Stanford, local volunteers for Swindon Retired Greyhound Trust organised the event with Taj and Azim, the owner and manager of the Sultan.
All the profits from the meals were very generously donated to the charity, along with a huge raffle which raised a grand total of £514.
Ann and Steve would like to thank everyone who donated raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets and attended the evening. they said, “It was a fantastic fundraising evening and everyone’s support is truly appreciated.
“Also a massive thank you to the staff at the Sultan who were brilliant in making sure the event ran smoothly and were extremely generous in their donation.”
