A FRIEND of a Melksham woman who died last year, will take to the skies this month standing on the wings of a plane to raise money for charity in honour of her friend.
Lisa Kent’s wing walk will take place on Wednesday 21st July. And money raised will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care, who supported Jo Prince and her family last year – Jo died from cancer in September 2020. The charity challenge will also be in memory of another friend of Lisa’s, Amy Buller from Corsham, who also died from cancer in September last year.
“I’m taking on this challenge of a wing walk for Dorothy House Hospice as they have supported both Jo and Amy’s families massively,” explained Lisa. “And as a local charity, they do so much for so many families in and around Wiltshire. So I wanted to do my bit to help Dorothy House Hospice so they can continue to support families who unfortunately lose loved ones.”
