A FRIEND of a Melksham woman who died last year, has completed her daredevil wing walk, raising over £1,700 for charity in honour of her friend.
“It was an amazing, incredible, breathtaking experience,” said Lisa Kent about her wing walk last month.
The money raised from Lisa’s aeronautical adventure is going to Dorothy House Hospice Care, who supported Lisa’s friend Jo Prince and her family last year – Jo died from cancer in September 2020.
The charity challenge was also in memory of another friend of Lisa’s, Amy Buller from Corsham, who also died from cancer in September last year
Donations are still coming in and Lisa is hoping to soon hit her £2,000 target. To support Lisa and donate to Dorothy House, visit the website: www.justgiving. com/fundraising/lisa-kent1981
