ATWORTH Village Hall has received a donation of £600 after the village’s annual show raised a record £753.
‘Atworth on Show’, which took place in September, was hailed a success by organisers.
Lisa Walkden said, “We raised a record-breaking amount, a staggering £753.99! This was raised by selling raffle tickets, an auction of the produce on the day and a separate auction of items that were very kindly donated by local businesses. We had beautiful displays of flowers, handicrafts, vegetables and fruit along with a large children’s category as well as a photography category.”
