Central defender Greg Tindle has joined Melksham Town for 2021/21 season.
The 32-year-old was previously captain at Chippenham Town FC and last season was captain at Weston Super Mare; he is re-joining Town where he started his career.
Manager, Rich Fey said, “I’m really pleased to get Tins on board. This is a great signing for the club on and off the pitch. He was captain last season at Weston and as soon as I knew he wanted to play locally it was a no brainer.
“He is a fit lad and a leader and we can’t wait to get working with him again having previously worked with him at Chippenham. I’m hoping to announce a couple more now the majority of the squad have all agreed to stay.”
Greg added, “I started my non league career at Melksham so I’ve come the full circle and returning to a fantastic club which has an exciting future.
“I know Feyer and Rudgie well and played for them before at Chippenham FC. The infrastructure and facilities at the club are second to none and there are some exciting talents coming up through the youth system. I will try and help these lads as best I can and look to have a successful season.”
