MELKSHAM Town had to wait to kick off in 2014 after their home fixture with Willand Rovers was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch after heavy January rainfall.
The weather was more suited to ducks and club officials used the opportunity to give their plastic ducks an outing on the pitch as large puddles appeared.
The weather also caused floods across town.
