MELKSHAM Rock ‘n’ Roll Club will be dancing the night away on Saturday 23rd July, with live music from Bo Walton & Red Alert; and DJ Bo Duddley.
Organisers say, “Bo Walton was born in the little village of Marden in Herefordshire, UK. At the age of 5/6 he began listening to his parents’ albums of Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, Billy Fury and Jerry Lee. He formed his first performing band when he was 14, playing mainly pop-rock covers but every now and then, dropping in an Elvis or Cochran track and it was quite obvious how much that style of music had influenced him!
“In 2015 Bo Walton teamed up with rock ‘n’ roll band Red Alert, taking their high energy live shows on the road in the UK, Europe, and the USA.”
Join them at Melksham Assembly Hall from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12, available on the door or from the Assembly Hall, or in advance from Melksham Town Hall and the Melksham Tourist information Centre. Tickets can also be booked online at: www. melkshamrockandroll.co.uk
