DO you need help organising your home, running household errands, or planning a special celebration? If yes, then ‘household personal assistant’ Emma Webb is here to help!
Inspired by her experience volunteering for the Melksham Community Support service during lockdown, local woman Emma has set up a new business, which aims to help people free up time by taking on the jobs they don’t like or have the time for.
Managing household maintenance, running household errands, grocery shopping, and household and organisational projects, are just some of the jobs that Emma can help you with.
“Organising your life and home can lead to a happy life and mind,” said Emma. “And I have a passion for organisation and I pride myself on hard work. I understand that having an organised lifestyle leads to more time to enjoy the things you love – and I can help you achieve this.
“As a busy mum and working part time as a head dental nurse, I have realised being organised frees up more free time to enjoy with my family.
“I can help you with many things, from getting organised in the home, grocery shopping, through to organising and preparing rental/holiday homes for occupancy. This includes organising maintenance and preparing the property for the home owner or home owner’s customer. This can be as little as stocking cupboards with food and drink, fresh flowers, to organising a celebration.
“And when I am sourcing other services or goods for any of my clients, I always use local services wherever achievable – that’s something I pride myself on.
“I already have a number of regular clients that I have also become good friends with – I love building a rapport with my clients and the feedback from them has been fabulous, I have had some great reviews.”
One client, who Emma has been helping settle into her new home in Melksham after moving to the area from Buckinghamshire, said, “I am quite disabled and much appreciate her punctuality, willingness, and attention to detail in helping me get organised. A cheerful attitude is just what I need, and her knowledge of Melksham and local trades people is second to none!”
Another client added, “Emma is quite simply ‘heaven sent’. She has transformed my wardrobes and cupboards, I can actually see what I have. I look forward to her coming every time, she is a joy to be with.”
Offering her top tip for getting organised, Emma said, “Don’t take on too much at once, and always prioritise – put things in order – what is most important at this moment in time?”
