Girls from the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics (WSG) performed well in the latest round of the West Country League recently, collecting a haul of medals.
West Country League is divided into a number of divisions with three leagues, A, B and C within each division. The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics competed in Division 2 and 3.
There are three matches throughout the year – the first match was in the spring with the second match held this month. The final is held at the end of November. Gymnast teams have to compete in two out of the three matches. The final position after each match earns the team points which are added together to decide the overall winner.
WSG head coach and gym manager Rachel Levick said, “The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics had three teams entered over both divisions and with a medal haul of two golds and one silver had a very successful competition.”
