BROUGHTON Gifford and Holt Scouts are inviting local runners to take part in the thirteenth running of the Great Chalfield 10K, which is possibly the most picturesque 10K run in the county, say the organisers.
The run takes place on Thursday 27th June starting from The Common in Broughton Gifford at 7.30pm before passing the grounds of Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House.
“The certified accurate 10-kilometre course is capable of producing some good times, with a record time of 32:42 having been recorded in 2016,” says Darren from Stampede Sports, which organises the event.
“All finishers will receive a medal and there are awards on offer to the leading runners and age category winners for V40, V50 and V60 runners.”
