MELKSHAM Town FC’s defender, Warren Maidment, has been crowned the supporters’ player of the year.
Warren was handed the trophy at the last home game of the season against Wellington, which saw Town grab a vital 3 points in their push for promotion with a 2-1 win.
Town supporters, Jason and Caroline Hanks, with their son Ciaran, aged 13, presented Warren with the trophy, pictured below. Jason said, “You have been fantastic all season, Warren, top class. The team would have lost more games without you and your blocks, and your die-hard performances.”
