THE Great Western Air Ambulance Helimed 65 visited Bowerhill twice in February, due to the local Wiltshire Air Ambulance Helimed 22 being unavailable both times.
Local man John Phillips, who took the photographs said, “The first time it attended an emergency on the industrial site on the 22nd February and landed on the green area adjacent to Stirling Close. On the second visit it landed on the green area adjacent to Falcon Way. It just goes to show that each area can rely on its neighbouring Air Ambulances to help out when required.”
The Great Western Air Ambulance charity is based in Almondsbury in South Gloucestershire at the M4/M5 Interchange and serves the Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Gloucestershire.
