MELKSHAM and District Historical Association will present ‘The Railway Navvy, his working life’ at Melksham Assembly Hall this Thursday, 15th February, at 7.30pm, doors open from 7pm.
The slide show and lecture will be presented by Judy and Chris Rouse.
Judy and Chris will portray a flavour of the hard life and working conditions of navvies during the peak of the early railway building mania.
All welcome. Guests £3. Association members free. If you would like to join the association, you can join on the night.
