LOCAL charity worker, Bryan Clover, is raising money for the Rainy Day Trust.
The chief executive officer of the Rainy Day Trust, is selling a number of donated items including cookware, bakeware and glasses.
Money raised will go to Rainy Day Trust, which is the only charity that exists solely to help people who have worked in the UK’s home improvement and enhancement industry.
Bryan says, “Once again, those amazing people at DRH Collection (they supply John Lewis) and QEP-Vitrex (DIY/tiling products) have donated a pallet load of goodies each for my work charity to sell and raise money for our work.
“All of the items are brand new though some have been in storage for some time so the boxes are dusty, marked or have minor damage. We have some of them in very large quantities; all told it adds up to over £6,500 worth of stock!
“We have put out requests for more stock across the whole housewares and DIY sector, so I need to shift this stuff fast and hence prices are competitive. It is all set out in our garage ready for socially-distanced visitors! Some of these will make great Christmas presents.
“Shipping will be at cost and if you live overseas, we could wrap and dispatch for Christmas for you. How’s that for service! Payment can be by cash, cheque, BACS, Paypal or credit card.”
