THE Melksham Cricket Club indoor team has been in action in the Chippenham Indoor Cricket League.
On Sunday 14th November Melksham CC faced Arlington CC and earned their second win of the season. Melksham CC were first to bat, and won by 45 runs. The final score was Arlington CC – 94 (10 overs, 5 wickets); Melksham CC – 139 (10 overs, 1 wickets).
On Sunday 28th November Melksham CC faced Biddestone CC indoor B but were unable to make it three wins on the spin, losing by 4 wickets.
It was a mixed effort with the bat led by Joe Veacock (49) and Chris Skilton (19) as Melksham made their way to a score of 101 all-out.
Biddestone then came out strong in the second innings, knocking off the target with more than over to spare with Chris Singh only picking up two wickets for Melksham.
