THE next Melksham Townswomen’s Guild meeting will take place at 2pm on Friday 13th January, in the St. Anthony’s Church Hall, West End in Melksham.
Margaret Beament will be talking about the Nuns of Lacock.
Our December meeting was our traditional Christmas party but we did have some sad news to share as one of our members had died. We had a moment’s silence for Pat MaCauley before continuing with our festive celebrations as Pat would have wished. There was some wonderful food followed by a fun quiz. There was also lots of chatter and giggles a good time had by all.
Our November meeting had us all making festive table decorations which some of us brought along to the party as well.
