THERE is still time to take part in this year’s carers festival that is in full swing across various venues in Melksham to mark Carers Week.
Carers Week is a national awareness week held each year, which takes place from 5th to 11th June and aims to shine a light on and show support for the millions of unpaid carers in the UK.
On Friday 9th June, head to the Melksham Assembly Hall from 4pm to 7pm for craft activities, information stands, screen printing, Grandma and the Lion, free refreshments and health checks.
Or, head to the Community Campus on Friday 9th June, again 4pm to 7pm, for a young carer and parent carer event involving an inflatable disco and snacks. Booking is required for this event.
