THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting its monthly Village Get Together and its annual music festival in the coming weeks, for all the community to get involved with.
On Sunday 30th June, the community is invited to the Village Get Together for a ‘killer skittles’ tournament.
Organisers say, “Join us for a game of killer skittles. It’s £1 entry – winner takes all! There is also a friendly kids game, which is free to enter. There is a prize to be won!”
The ‘get together’ takes place from 5pm to 7pm.
On Saturday 6th July, the White Hart’s charity music festival @FEST returns – and this year the festival will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nathan and Kirsty Cortilla taking over the pub.
The couple says, “@FEST is back in style with a theme of glitter and glam! You heard it, we want all of you lovely people to come head to toe in anything totally glamour, glitz and sequins. You provide the glam, we provide the glitter!
“A full day of live music, all to raise money for Dorothy House Hospice. Last year’s @FEST raised a whopping £1,349.40 and we saw over 500 of you committed people on not only one of the hottest days of the year, but amongst World Cup fever. So this year, let’s try to double it!”
There will be a barbecue, drinks, face painting, outside bar, children’s activities, popcorn, and lots more. The music line-up is soon to be announced.
