LEEKES, the home department store, on Beanacre Road, Melksham has partially reopened. Government guidance allows stores selling hardware to trade so they are currently open for decorating, DIY, garden and accessory purchases only.
They are also offering a click and collect service enabling customers to purchase a wider range of products online at leekes.co.uk for collection from the store.

Initially their opening hours are Tuesdays to Saturdays 9.00 am to 4.00 pm but their website will be updated with any changes to opening hours, news on the opening of additional departments and the restarting of their delivery and installation services.

Darren Clements, Store Manager, says
“We have introduced a number of steps to ensure our teams and customers remain safe including the introduction of a one way system around the store, social distancing reminders, sanitiser stations and are asking customers to pay by card.
On our first trading day yesterday, many of our customers told us they were delighted to see up reopening and were very complimentary about the additional steps we have taken to create a safe shopping environment.
We look forward to welcoming more of our customers over the next few weeks.”
