MELKSHAM-based GWF Nutrition is celebrating a special milestone this month as the company marks its 50th Anniversary.
The company manufactures animal feed & supplements from its mill on the Bowerhill Estate.
Director Simon Vowles said, “Since we made our first batch of animal feed in Bradford on Avon back in 1971 there have been a lot of proud moments. Our products are now found in pet shops and country stores across the UK and beyond, and Joint Aid for Dogs in particular has proved itself as one of the leading dog joint supplements in the country.
“We’re still innovating just like we were in the 1970’s as Gro-Well Feeds and what hasn’t changed is our passion for improving the lives of animals up and down the country and a belief in what the right nutrition can do.
“We wouldn’t have come this far without the support of our customers, our stockists and the other local businesses we have built up great relationships with over the years as well as the vets, vet nurses, farriers, dog handlers and countless others who have recognised the quality of our products and continue to recommend us.
“There are some very exciting things to come on the horizon as we look forward to the next chapter.”
