A Melksham company visited the town’s football club to celebrate its ongoing support and current two-year sponsorship deal.
Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems UK is currently sponsoring Melksham Town FC by providing team shirts and advertising around the pitch.
Lucy Fitton-Hayward, Internal Communications Lead at Knorr-Bremse, said, “Supporting our local communities and building long-standing relationships is a priority for us. Alongside Melksham’s adult side, the club has around 490 children playing in its youth teams. So, it’s a huge bonus that we also get to support young people in the area too.”
More than 400 people work at the company’s Melksham facility on Westinghouse Way. The rail industry manufacturer operates across engineering, digital expertise, overhaul, and maintenance, while also investing in staff through apprenticeships and graduate placements.
