THE spring/summer programme of fortnightly recitals at the Rachel Fowler Centre are coming to an end and many excellent musicians have performed to very appreciative audiences. However there are still four dates for your diary.
On 2nd June, The Melksham Trio; 16th June Sheila Jackson, a soprano with a lovely voice accompanied by local businessman and church organist, Bryan Morris; 30th June Jane Atkinson. Jane is from Frome and new to the Rachel Fowler Centre and will ‘wow’ the audience. On 14th July Hilary Clifton, contralto, accompanied by Sue Law. Hilary is a hugely entertaining performer and Sue complements her beautifully.
The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge for the recital but donations towards the upkeep of the Rachel Fowler Centre are very welcome.
The Autumn recitals will begin mid September.
