Don’t forget to visit the Melksham Makers’ Market!
Preparations are well under way for the next Melksham Makers’ Market which is on Saturday 29th June – the same day as Melksham Carnival!
Melksham’s craft market will fill the market place on carnival day from 10am-3pm, welcoming the crowds to look at a wide range of crafts from local makers, perfect for buying that someone special a gift!
Organiser Sarah said, “May’s market was really busy and we hope June’s is too, especially as it is carnival day.
“We received lot of lovely comments about how nice it was to see a busy market, and also about how talented the makers were. Nicola and I love organising this market; we love meeting all the new traders and seeing their fantastic makes, and we also love chatting to the people who come out and support the market.
“We are already starting to see some familiar faces who keep returning each month to buy gifts!”
Nicola added, “We are getting lots of new traders applying for a pitch at the market, which is great news. This month, we have Just Honey, Forget Me Not Fairy Houses, Zuzi (soft furnishings) and Second Time Around joining us for the first time, plus lots of returning stall holders from our April and May markets.
“June’s market will also see a visit from the carnival royalty and a presentation of gifts from our very talented makers.”
