Melksham Gardeners’ Society 11th Annual Show results

Melksham Gardeners’ Society’s hosted its 11th Open Flower and Produce Show earlier this month.

Chair of Melksham Gardeners’ Society, Barbara Cropp said, “Thanks to all those who came or entered exhibits into our show.”

 The results of the show were as follows: Flower Section – Pauline Shea-Simmonds; Vegetables – Sophie Legg; Fruit – Mick Company; Young Exhibitors 3-8 yrs – Austin Newman; Young Exhibitors 9-15 yrs – Grace Newman; Floral Art – Martin Hopkins; Preserves – Janey Cox; Baking – Fiona Dey (tied with Eve Cartledge) – but Fiona had most 1sts; Handicrafts – Helen Morris; Photography- Beth Dark; Closed Class – Barbara Cropp; RHS Banksian Medal – Sophie Legg; Chairman’s Cup – Alison Mills; Best In Show – Sophie Legg.
