MELKSHAM Town FC are preparing for one of their biggest games in recent years as they continue their road to Wembley in the FA Vase.
They take on Highmoor Ibis in the First Round of the FA Vase at the Conigre on Saturday 1st November at 3pm. Their Reading based opponents currently sit second in the Hellanic Premier Division having only tasted a league defeat once this season.
Melksham will be hoping to continue a positive start to the season as they have established themselves as one of the better sides in the Western Premier League. Town’s best ever FA Vase performance came in the 2007-08 season when they got to the third round before losing at home to Truro City. A record they had equalled on four other occasions.
