Local primary school, Forest and Sandridge, is celebrating after being rated Outstanding in all five areas assessed in its latest Ofsted inspection, marking a significant achievement for staff and pupils.
The school received the highest possible grading across all five areas: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and early years provision.
Inspectors, who visited the school last month, said the school “is a happy and welcoming place where pupils flourish. The school’s meaningful values of compassion, respect, courage, and humility nurture pupils and enable them to thrive. Pupils truly value their school and the education they receive.”
Headteacher Scott James said, “This outstanding outcome belongs to everyone. It is a reflection of the shared values that define Forest and Sandridge Primary School and our belief that every child deserves the very best to enable them to flourish.
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure our school is a place where all children can thrive. I am so proud to lead our school community, and this judgment validates the dedication of an extremely hard-working team of staff and the brilliant children who learn here. Thank you for your ongoing support – it truly makes a difference.”
