Melksham driver Owen Hillman has begun his latest campaign in the Mini Challenge JCW Championship.
The championship, which features identical Mini F56 JCW three-door hatchbacks and is regarded as a key feeder series to the British Touring Car Championship, consists of six rounds across the season.
The opening round took place at Donington Park’s 1.97-mile National Circuit on 18th and 19th April, where Owen competed in three races for the Bowerhill-based Pro Alloys Racing.

Starting 15th on the grid for race one, he finished 14th after receiving a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits.
In race two, he completed the 16-lap contest in 16th place.
His strongest performance came in race three, where he climbed through the field to finish eighth.
Owen’s next outing in the championship will be at Brands Hatch on the Indy Circuit on 9th and 10th May.
