Melksham were away to Bradford on Avon, competing against the top two in the league in as many weeks. A tough week for selection presented an opportunity for players to step up and fight for the shirt.
The home team were on top form and mostly Melksham were trying to contain the opposition and create some momentum for them selves, but it proved to be too great a task, with four tries in the first half and three to follow in the second. Melksham threatened several times but were unable to complete the phases in the home 22. Bradford on Avon executed well throughout the game to take a comfortable 41-0 win against Melksham.
