Melksham Makers’ Market will be back on Saturday 29th August from 9am – 2pm, in the Market Place.
Organisers of the market Sarah Hillman and Nicola Coleman have been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for their second market of the year.
Sarah says, “We’re really pleased that lots of the traders from last month, including Florrie & Jean, Katy Wilkinson Jewellery, Happy Hounds Bakery, Amanada Humphrey Ceramics, The Secret Crocheter, Mrs Mosely’s Posies, Just Honey, Ooh Lovely Lilo Ceramics and Sandridge Brownies & Bakes will be joining us again on Saturday 29th with all their wonderful, handcrafted makes.”
Nicola added, “Lots of new traders got in touch after the success of last month’s market, so we are excited to welcome Copper Bee with their gorgeous handmade jewellery, Handmade by Lizzie with their range of handmade soaps, lotions and candles, and the very talented Louise from Crafty Thyme. We can’t wait for Saturday and just hope the weather is kinder to us than last month!”
Melksham Town Council said, “This increasingly busy Makers’ Market specialises in handmade local gifts and crafts, and boosts trade in the town by increasing the numbers of town-centre visitors.”
