Melksham shoppers raise thousands for local charity

A TOTAL of £8,750 has been raised by Melksham shoppers for local charity West Wilts Special Needs Activity Scheme following a year of fundraising at Sainsbury’s. 

The charity was the Melksham supermarket’s chosen charity for a year and involved many fundraising initiatives.

Diana Malling from Sainsbury’s said, “It has been a year of hard work but very worth while and culminated with a fantastic amount of money being raised. I would like to say a huge thank you to all our colleagues and customers that have contributed both their time and financially in order to make this happen.”
