NOMINATIONS are now welcome for this year’s Melksham Young People’s Awards 2013.
The awards are an opportunity to celebrate some of the achievements made by young people living in the Melksham area. There is a number of awards that each celebrate some of the different skills, achievements and commitments of young people.
Last year categories included school council award, outstanding achiever award, young voice award, young leader award, sporting team award, volunteering award, sporting individual award, young carer award, young team arts award and individual arts award.
Any young person aged under 19 living in the Melksham Community Area (Melksham, Bowerhill, Berryfields, Atworth, Broughton Gifford, Steeple Ashton, Great Hinton, Shaw, Witley, Beanacre, Seend, Semington, Keevil, Bulkington and Poulshot) can be nominated for an award.
The awards will be presented at a special evening event in the Assembly Hall, Melksham, on Wednesday 27th November.
