Melksham’s bonniest baby is Eloise Mather, who was voted the overall winner of the Carnival Bonniest Baby competition, held earlier this month.
The age group results were: 0-6 months – Winner, Eloise Mather; 2nd, Oakley Bridges; 3rd, Elliott Hayward. 7-11 months – Winner, Chester Holland; 2nd, Elliott Grant. 1-2 years – Winner, Henry Latham; 2nd, Reuben Regan; 3rd, Zoe Grant. 3 years to reception – Winner, Bonnie Regan; 2nd, Tilly Newman; 3rd, Guy Newman
All winners received a rosette, a goodie bag provided by organiser, Beth Dark, and a Melksham Carnival Bonnie Baby certificate.
The overall winner received an additional larger rosette and a photo shoot voucher from Captured Moments Photography.
“I was over the moon with the number of entries this year,” said Beth.
“It was great to have stalls for people to look around, including our lovely Melksham Lions, and the free bouncy castle was enjoyed very much – thanks to Danny Toogood for this generous gesture.
“I would also like to say a huge thanks to Bruce and the Assembly Hall team, for all their effort with the event; Sarah Reeves of Starwulf Crafts for the stunning rosettes and thank you also to our wonderful panel of judges – Pam Jackson, Sue Mortimer and Tamara Dickson, who did a super job!
“Thank you also Melksham Independent News for coming along to cover the event and finally a huge thank you to everyone who supported us, on behalf of the whole Melksham Carnival Team.”
