THE weather may have been blowing a gale and with driving rain but it did not dampen the enthusiasm of The Manor School Family Gardening Club.
Waitrose, Melksham, kindly donated four fruit trees, an apple, a pear, a greengage and a cherry. Three members of staff from Waitrose joined The Manor Family Gardening Club and supported the children planting the new trees.
The club would like to thank Waitrose for the generous donation and look forward to the trees bearing fruit for everyone to sample.
A huge thank you also to the children, who despite being wet and cold, did a champion job of planting the trees for the benefit of the whole school.
They were Ella, James, Madison, Henry, Chloe and the club’s youngest member from Reception, Evie-Rose.
