Member of the European Parliament for the South West, Caroline Voadon, visited Melksham’s splashpad in the King George V playing field last month.
She was welcomed by town councillor Adrienne Westbrook. “The splashpad received £93,000 of European funding,” said cllr Westbrook.
“Caroline was interested in the process for applying for the funding and expressed her delight that the project had received such a large amount of money to help in the refurbishment of the park.”
