All constituents are welcome to my Money Management event on Friday 14th June at Melksham Town Hall, says Michelle Donelan MP, where local and national organisations will be holding stalls for anyone to pop in and get advice on money-related matters.
She says, “If you have any queries at all about debt, pensions, benefits, tax, or simply want to get better with day-to-day money management, please do not hesitate to come down to the Town Hall between 1 and 3pm!
“We will have tax specialists from HMRC, debt advisors from the local Hope Debt Advice, pensions experts from The Pensions Advisory Service alongside many other fantastic stalls with charities like Turn2Us and The Money Charity, who are also running a small workshop at the start for anyone interested in day-to-day spending.
“There will also be representatives from Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire Citizens Advice, the JobCentre and the Financial Ombudsman who are ready to field any related questions you may have in this area and to talk more about what services they can offer.
“No pre-registration is needed so please do feel free to just turn up and I would recommend getting there early to make the most out of this opportunity. I will be making a few introductory remarks before The Money Charity give a brief presentation. If you have any questions about the event, please do email me at michelle.donelan.mp@ parliament.uk
