Two of the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics gymnasts recently went to Guildford to compete against dozens of gymnasts from across the country in the National Challenge Cup.
Robyn Ellison (14) competed in the Junior category (aged 14/15) and despite two falls, still managed to score a PB of 43.550, achieving selection to the 2015 South West Squad.
Jessica Daykin (13) also scored a PB of 46.350 in the Espoir (12/13) section which included a great performance on beam, earning her the bronze medal for that apparatus. Jessica’s overall total also gives her an opportunity to compete at the British Championships later on in the year.
