The first of a new monthly artisan market in Atworth will be celebrating local artists, craftspeople and designers this Sunday.
Organiser, Emma Roberts said, “Welcome to the Atworth Artisan! Please join us on Harvest Sunday – 4th October to discover the amazing exhibitors we have gathered together for our inaugural event.
“There will be a carefully selected mix of handmade goods on display from jewellery, ceramics, artworks, flowers, unusual gifts and homewares plus seasonal extras.
In addition, we will be running a Harvest themed ‘bring and share’ stall where local villagers can bring homemade produce or surplus from their vegetable patches and gardens. All profits will go to Wiltshire Mind and there will be collection point for the local food bank also.
“The Atworth Artisan Market is free to attend and conveniently set up alongside the White Hart pub, so visitors also have the option of a splendid Sunday lunch before or after visiting the market stalls – the perfect Sunday outing! Coffee and snacks also available outside from 11am.
“The event is all outside so masks are not mandatory but hand sanitiser will be available and signage will be provided informing and reiterating social distancing. Free parking and toilet facilities available.
“We hope to establish this as a regular Sunday market to provide a focal point for creativity in the area and to celebrate seasonal themes. Exhibitors are carefully chosen for their high quality craftsmanship and individuality, to ensure an interesting array of stalls. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you there!”
