A new Melksham business, Countryside Pursuits, is opening from tomorrow, Tuesday 16th June, at Church Farm in Shaw.
Lockdown has kindled a renewed interest in the countryside and its traditional pursuits. The business sells air rifles, shotguns, rifles and ammunition, along with targets and accessories. Owner Paul Webb, is an ex-soldier and ex-policeman, who can offer lots of advice and recommendation. Countryside Pursuits are also agents for many of the biggest names in shooting.
They have facilities for onsite gunsmithing work, for repairs and alterations, which is carried out by repair engineer, Dave Morris.
The site also houses a fascinating heritage centre for antique shotguns.
Countryside Pursuits, based in Unit 6, Church Farm , Shaw, is open Tuesday-Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm. Tel. 01225 707513.
