The Atworth Village Hall recently transformed the old football changing room into a meeting room.
The committee reports, “This room was used up to approximately four years ago by football teams in the Sunday league.
“Since then and after many years of trying to get football teams interested to use this facility, it was decided to transform this space into a room that can be used by village hall user groups or local businesses.
“The funding for this project was covered by grants received from the Atworth Parish Council, The Hills Group Ltd and the Melksham Area Board. The Hills Group Ltd grant was arranged through Community First, The Rural Community Council for Wiltshire.
“The Atworth Village Hall is very grateful for the contributions received from these groups as without these grants, this project would not have been possible.”
