PLANS are underway for the return of Melksham’s Food and River festival on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September.
As part of the plans, there will be a new festival bar provider – Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Co.
Festival organiser Adrienne Westbrook said she hoped this would be the beginning of a new partnership which helps to cement the festival as the number one event to go to in the summer in Melksham.
She said, “Ramsbury Brewery was founded in 2004 and the Distillery followed in 2014 and together they have nearly 20 years of experience producing craft beers and the finest English Gin and Vodka in the most sustainable methods that are available.
“The Brewery & Distillery are part of the Ramsbury Estate in Marlborough, where they farm producing arable and livestock as well as rapeseed oil.”
General manager Nik Fordham said, “Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Co Ltd are delighted to be working with Melksham Food and River Festival. We know how popular this free to enter festival is and look forward to welcoming visitors in September who can enjoy our craft products while soaking up those last rays of summer sunshine.”
