Melksham Town FC has announced the signing of striker Steve Murray from Bridgwater Town FC.
Town’s manager, Rich Fey said, “Obviously ‘Muz’ played a big part for me the past three years at Street being top goalscorer. He is a proven goal scorer at Southern League level. It brings competition for places and he also offers us something different. He will be a great asset on and off the pitch.”
Steve Murray said, “I am made up to have signed for Melksham Town. The facilities are second to none and the chance to play at the InfiLED arena and in front of a big support was a huge pull.
“Having played for ‘Feyer’ for the last three years, I know the professionalism himself and Rudge work to and that is something that I’ve missed. I’m buzzing for Saturday (11th January) to help the team continue their good form.”
The club added, “We would like to thank Bridgwater Town for their assistance in getting this done so promptly.”
