Party-goers attending Melksham’s biggest outdoor music event in July this year will be entertained by Europe’s most exciting and authentic Pink! tribute act, hair-raising thrills from motorcycle stunt riders and a wide range of musical attractions.
Former X Factor contestant Zoe Alexander will take to the stage at the town’s Party in the Park and is expected to deliver a high octane performance, singing many of the pop superstar’s greatest hits.
Organiser Bruce Burry said, “With her distinctive short cropped blond hair and powerful vocal range, Zoe looks and sounds remarkably like the American singer.
“This year’s event is shaping up to be the best ever with a wide range of acts to satisfy all musical tastes, including pop, rock, folk, jazz, classical and show tunes from West End musicals.
“But music is not all that is on offer! Those who like their entertainment more hair-raising can enjoy the thrills of Adrenaline Tour, a motorcycle stunt act, starring former professional motocross rider Jason Smyth. “Jason will astound the audience at the main arena with a series of spectacular tricks, stunts and jumps while riding powerful motor bikes and quad bikes.”
The first Party in the Park took place in 2000 and each year it has grown in popularity, with over 6,000 people attending the event in 2014. Melksham’s Party in the Park takes place on Saturday 18th July at the town’s King George V playing field.
