MELKSHAM Formula Ford driver Ed Moore was in action at Silverstone earlier this month.
Moore was racing in the Walter Hayes Trophy meeting at Silverstone around the 1.69 mile National circuit in his Van Dieman JL013K, having made it through to the final race via a series of knock out races.
Ed had to race in some of the worst weather over the weekend of 5th November, not only was it cold, windy and sunny at times, but just before the cars went out for the final the heavy rain started to fall and did so for the whole of the 15 lap race.
At the flag Moore crossed the line in 20th place; a bold effort in such tricky conditions.
