Local families are invited to celebrate the start of summer at The Manor School Summer Fayre on Saturday 4th July, with an American Independence Day-themed event running from 3pm to 7pm.
The school grounds will be transformed into a festival-style setting with red, white and blue decorations, live entertainment, food and a range of activities for all ages.
Organised by Friends of The Manor, the school’s PTA, the fayre aims to bring the community together while raising funds to support projects, equipment and opportunities for pupils.
Entertainment will run throughout the afternoon with demonstrations from local clubs and organisations, as well as a line-up of family-friendly activities.
The event will also include fairground rides, pottery painting, a tombola and a coconut shy.
A live performance from local musician Bradley Cowtan will take place from 5pm, providing music for the evening portion of the event.
Visitors can enjoy a licensed bar, sponsored by Milktown Brewing Company, and a BBQ sponsored by Gonjos, alongside a selection of stalls from local businesses.
A member of Friends of The Manor said, “We’re delighted to be bringing our community together for what promises to be a fantastic summer event. With an American Independence Day theme, live music, food, rides and local businesses involved, there really will be something for everyone to enjoy. Every penny raised will help support The Manor School and enhance opportunities for our pupils.”
