Seend C. of E. Primary School is now an official drop off point for the Helping the Homeless in the South West charity.
Helping the homeless is a charity that was started 18 months ago and distributes items in Trowbridge, Bath, Salisbury, Bristol and any other local areas where they are needed. If anyone, at any time, has any of the following, please drop them into the box in the main school reception area: toiletries, travel mugs, reusable water bottles, individual drinks cartons, individual cake bars, cereal bars biscuit packets, crisps, coffee / sugar / instant drinks sachets, pot noodles, mugshots, sleeping bags, blankets, tents, camping mats, hoodies, socks, men’s jeans / joggers up to size 34, t-shirts, and rucksacks/ holdalls (to name but a few items!) then please drop them into the box.
Headteacher, Jackie Chalk explained, “Over the Easter Holidays, I experienced first-hand how grateful the recipients are, when I spent the day in Bristol helping the charity distribute these much-needed resources, so thank you in advance for any help you can give, now or in the future.”
