OVER 500 food items have been donated to Melksham’s Foodbank by members of local Slimming World groups.
Four local groups – based at the Town Hall, Bowerhill, Forest and Sandridge school, and at Melksham Guides HQ – spent four weeks collecting donations in the run-up to Christmas.
Manager of Melksham Foodbank, Hilary, told Melksham News, “We’d like to thank the Slimming World team leaders and their members for their generosity towards the foodbank and its clients.”
