THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting a St Paddy’s day party this weekend, as well as more free live music events for everyone to enjoy.
This Friday, 15th March, from 9pm, the White Hart will be throwing a St Paddy’s party with music from Straight Shooter.
Organisers say, “Straight Shooter are a four-piece rock covers band, that has been together since the end of 2006. Expect songs by the likes of Thin Lizzy, The Who, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Status Quo, plus other more obscure bits’n’pieces and general horseplay!”
On Sunday 24th March, a Pink Floyd tribute act will entertain the crowds from 5pm until 7pm.
Organisers say, “This will be a special night centred on the music of Pink Floyd performed by singer/guitarist James Hollingsworth, also featuring some of his own songs, who has been wowing audiences throughout the UK. An all-live uniquely solo show, James uses modern looping technology, with live percussion, voice and guitar effects to build complex arrangements in real time – no pre-recorded backing tracks are used!”
