Melksham station received a special visit from restored former Southern Railway ‘West Country’ class steam locomotive 34046 ‘Braunton’ on Wednesday 23rd April.
The engine was in charge of a special Andover to Stratford-on-Avon ‘Cathedrals Express’ St George’s Day excursion that stopped at Melksham at 9.42am to pick up passengers for their special day out.
