The children at the Manor School have been learning about the Stone Age era as part of their learning theme ‘Stones, Bones and Bumps in the Ground’.
The school had a very exciting visit from ‘Mez’ the Stone Age man who taught the children how to make hunting spears, how to make fire and how to cook fish. The children also created a Stone Age shelter on the school field.
As part of the Stone Age experience the children also had the opportunity to try javelin throwing and archery.
The experience really bought the Stone Age to life and helped the children to understand what it was like to live in that time.
